Storm claim support
Roof Insurance Claim Assistance in Clarkston
You keep control of your claim. We bring the photos, the measurements and a roofer to stand beside the adjuster.
Where a Roofer Fits in Your Claim
An insurance claim is between you and your insurer. That does not change. What a roofer adds is evidence and a second set of trained eyes. Here is how it usually goes. A storm comes through. You notice something, or a neighbor does, or nothing seems wrong at all. We go up and photograph each hail strike and wind-lifted shingle, slope by slope, with measurements of each roof face. If the damage looks like it meets your policy's threshold, you decide whether to open a claim. When the adjuster schedules a visit, we meet them on the roof. That matters, because adjusters are busy and hail bruises are easy to overlook in bad light. We point out what we found and make sure the photos and measurements match what they record. Then the insurer sends its estimate. Sometimes it is complete. Sometimes it leaves things out: drip edge, starter rows, ridge vents, a slope that was not counted. In those cases we prepare a supplement with photos and line items and send it to the insurer for review. Negotiating on your behalf is not our role, and no roofer can promise how an insurer will decide. What we can do is make sure the damage is documented clearly and nothing obvious gets missed.
What Claim Assistance Includes
These are the pieces we handle on the roofing side of a typical storm claim.
Storm damage inspection
Every slope walked and every hit recorded before you decide whether to file.
Organized photo report
Close-ups and wide shots grouped by slope, easy for you and the adjuster to follow.
Roof measurements
Squares, pitches, ridges, valleys and edges measured so quantities are accurate.
Adjuster meeting
A roofer on the roof with your adjuster to point out each area of damage.
Estimate review
The insurer's line items compared against what the roof actually needs.
Supplements for missed items
Photos and line items sent to the insurer for anything left off the estimate.
Plain explanations
Terms like depreciation, ACV and RCV explained in everyday language.
The roof itself
Once the claim settles, the repair or replacement installed and cleaned up.
The Claim, Step by Step
Inspection before filing
We look first and photograph everything, so you know whether there is real storm damage before you contact your insurer.
Adjuster visit
You open the claim and set the adjuster appointment. We meet them on site, walk the slopes together and make sure each damaged area is seen.
Estimate, supplements and the work
When the estimate arrives, we review it with you and send supplements for any missed items. Then the roof work is scheduled and completed.
