Roof Repair in Clarkston

If a repair will do the job, we will tell you, fix it properly and show you photos of the finished work.

When a Repair Is the Right Call

Not every roof problem means a new roof. Plenty of leaks come from one small, fixable spot. A rubber pipe boot that cracked in the sun. A piece of step flashing that pulled away from a wall. A handful of shingles a gust tore loose. When the rest of the roof is in decent shape, fixing that spot is the sensible thing to do, and we will say so. The tricky part is finding the real source. Water travels. It can enter at the top of a slope, run along the deck or a rafter and show up as a stain several feet away. So we start in the attic when we can, follow the water trail back and then confirm it from the roof. Once we know the cause, the repair is usually straightforward: a new boot, new flashing, replacement shingles matched as closely as possible and sealed down. We photograph the problem and the fix so you can see both. Here is the honest other side, though. If the roof is nearly worn out, with brittle shingles, widespread granule loss or damage on several slopes, patching one area may only buy a little time. In that case we explain the tradeoff plainly and let you decide.

Common Repairs We Handle

These are the repairs that come up most often.

  • Leak tracing

Water followed from the stain back to where it actually enters.

  • Pipe boot replacement

Cracked rubber collars around plumbing vents replaced with new ones.

  • Flashing repair

Loose or rusted step and wall flashing reset or replaced.

  • Shingle replacement

Missing, cracked or creased shingles swapped and sealed down.

  • Exposed nail fixes

Popped or bare nail heads reset and covered so they stop leaking.

  • Vent repairs

Damaged vent caps and housings replaced or resealed.

  • Valley fixes

Worn or damaged valley sections repaired where water concentrates.

  • Before and after photos

The problem and the finished repair both documented for you.

How a Repair Visit Works

  1. Find the source

We check the attic and roof to trace the leak or damage to its real cause.

  2. Explain the options

You hear whether a repair will hold or whether the roof is closer to replacement, with photos either way.

  3. Fix and document

The repair is made, sealed and photographed, and the spot is tidied before we go.

Repairs Without the Upsell

  • We find the real leak

Tracing comes first, so you pay to fix the cause, not the symptom.

  • No upselling

If a repair is enough, that is what we recommend.

  • Proof of the fix

Photos of the repaired spot so you know it was done.

  • Leaks traced
  • Matched shingles
  • New pipe boots
  • Photos of the fix
